IDE .. is a kind of material .. / /
and hardware is a SATA (Type) ..

P-ATA or IDE cable is a flat data ...
and S-ATA uses a Molex connector ...
===
It is a switch that operates 2-type .. has been produced ... be ... IDE or SATA ...
===
The SATA device may be more equipment in the tower ..
You can make a disk storage using SATA Internal ... because it is less - the interference of the leak - the electrical connections ...
===
PATA or IDE does not work as well as internal memory ...
.. only as a system drive C: / ...
===
Electrical faults are piling up at the ends of an IDE (the ends of the cables) ... Right at the point of connection ... if your hardware is very close - the data can be damaged ...
Via a SATA connector Molex has better features ... [End]
Hello,
(ANS) NO 1 gigabyte of technical support for a technical explanation, we need an IDE drive on this motherboard.
Or
No.2 real contact BIOS manufacturers (like the phoenix, for example) as a support system BIOS (for backward compatibility) IDE or SATA. In essence, is now rather IDE and SATA technology is now dated and is currently in favor because it offers higher data rates. But most MB & IDE drivers should support yet, so this should not be too difficult.
No. 3, if the worst of the worst and only has SATA on the MB or a PCI IDE controller card, which can still install and run, IDE or EIDE add. These cards should be PnP with Windows and you may need to install drivers for this card type.
** I do not think you should worry much more about the BIOS, or in any way.
Hope that helps?
Kind Regards, Ivan

wot u on safe mode only ....
boot up if u want to IDE instead of SATA hard drive then ur heart nad home section in the BIOS then in the design of hard disk (or Sumthing good) ... and change the first thing that ur IDE,
But I'm pretty sure there is nothing like the IDE and SATA modes ???!!!!!!!!!!!... The hard drive SATA or IDE can not switch to another!
For delete at boot by pressing F2 "or" "or what is central control til options and find what needs to change it, then save the settings after a reboot and see what happens.
disable SATA, they believe that the boot option IDE or IDE work.automatically to choose.
